Redmi Note 10 is a new offering from Redmi in a budget category and this device seems to be a really good device in terms of on-paper specifications. Today we are going to talk about Redmi Note 10 in detail and see whats are its pros and cons according to me that means I am going to share my opinion on Redmi Note 10.
Redmi Note 10 is the first phone in India to come with Snapdragon 678 SoC which is nothing but an overclocked Snapdragon 675 present in the Redmi Note 7Pro, so performance will also be going to be similar to Redmi Note 7 Pro, this doesn't mean you are getting bad performance instead its CPU performance is one of the best under 15k or even under 20k, but the disappointment is again with the GPU i.e Adreno 612 which is optimized for few games and most of the games you can only get a satisfactory performance because it is not much powerful and provide similar performance to Adreno 512 in Snapdragon 660 so you can now imagine how truly powerful it is and that is the case with Redmi Note 7Pro as well it was also a good smartphone but for gaming, it was never recommended by me.
The display is where Redmi has really impressed me this time by providing an FHD+ super AMOLED display in this device, and I think for under 15K price this is actually a very good addition to a smartphone instead of an IPS LCD higher refresh rate. It has a 6.43inch size display with a 60Hz refresh rate which I don't mind because of the Amoled display. You get Gorilla Glass 3 protection in this device.
Then just like other smartphones in a similar price bracket, you get a Quad camera setup with a 48Mp primary sony IMX 582 sensor with 8Mp Ultra-wide,2Mp depth and 2Mp macro sensor. There nothing exciting about the camera setup but if I talk about its primary camera then you can expect a good performance. On the front, there is a 13Mp front camera which I think is just ok.
Out of the box you et MIUI 12 based on Android 11 which is both good and bad thing as the good thing is that it has Android 11 and the bad thing is MIUI which means ads and bloatware.
And then there is a 5000mah battery with a 33W fast charging support which makes it a good battery backup phone overall. And don't forget that it comes with dual stereo speakers that is amazing in this price
For Rs11,999 you get 4GB+64GB and for Rs13,999 you get 6GB+128GB.
Now overall let's see what are the pros and cons of Redmi Note 10
Pros:-
- It has a Super AMOLED display.
- I don't know about you but I like the design for Redmi Note 10.
- Snapdragon 678 has a very good CPU performance under 15k.
- You can expect a good camera performance.
- Large battery with a fast charger.
- It has stereo speakers
- As for me I think both variants is well priced so you can get any one of them according to your needs.
Cons:-
- Snapdragon 678 might be good in CPU performance but GPU performance is not that great compared to the competition.
- I don't like MIUI as it is heavy so you can see lags in UI and you get ads and unnecessary recommendation.
Overall I would not say that there is not a single smartphone better than Redmi Note 10 but yes if you have a 15K budget and you don't play games or play casual games than definitely, I can recommend you this device. It is a great combination of everything you need in a smartphone in the budget segment.
Note- These are my opinion on Redmi Note 10. It's not a review.
